Here I am bringing a lot to the table! I have been working as a professional graphic designer in Portland since 2006, including 2+ years work with a full-service local advertising agency. In 2010 I took a job doing in-house design for a software developer in the energy sector, where I began managing marketing operations in addition to creative job duties. Since 2013 I have been serving as Marketing and Creative Manager for a SaaS provider in the renewable energy market.

Content marketing is a priority for my current employer. Campaigns include quarterly webinars which we host and produce. I curate content for the webinars and create the presentations. I use email campaigns to promote the events and I serve as administrator for the live events. Tracking information is used for subsequent sales campaigns.

Content marketing campaigns also include newsletters, which are generated monthly at my current employer. I both write and design the newsletter each month, and I manage the email campaign. Each monthly newsletter includes one article at the corporate level, one product profile, and one case study from the company client portfolio. Again, tracking information is available for sales efforts.

All my employers in the energy sector have required frequent press releases in this rapidly evolving market. My duties include both writing and publishing press releases, which may be distributed nationally via wire service or by circulation with our network of industry media friendlies. Press releases may also require distribution in multiple translations using international wire services.

Event Planning and Management

I have been planning and managing tradeshow events for 8 years. Annual exhibition demands range from modest 10’ x 10’ footprints up to 30’ x 30’ booths with a private meeting room and multiple media stations. My responsibilities include design and project management for booth constructions, event promotion, and coordination for rentals, labor, and booth activities.
