While working with a local ad agency I was able to design for A-list Portland clients, including PSU. This project was the viewbook for the school’s Master of International Management program. To showcase the SE Asia focus of the program, I designed the piece with a gatefold cover.
This spread is the reveal when the gatefold cover is opened. The viewbook served as the style guide for subsequent design work including the program website.
This was a series of email marketing campaigns I did for the Nike wholesale operation nike.net. These monthly campaigns created a brand identity for new product lines being introduced to retailers.
I created layouts and type treatments for these campaigns. The full page emails served as templates for each monthly campaign, including web banners and branded web order forms.
I did a lot of work for Bridgeport Brewing during my time at the agency. For these campaigns I generally provided copywriting as well as graphic design.
Agency work for Bridgeport included an overall brand identity reflecting the blue collar roots of the brewery and the ties to Portland/Oregon culture. At the time, this client requested a new brand identity for each seasonal beer release, creating a full new campaign several times each year.
CHAP is Children’s Healing Art Project, a Portland-based nonprofit that provides art materials and projects at children’s hospitals. My wife and I became involved with CHAP when our daughter had leukemia (full recovery). These are some brand pieces I did for their annual fundraiser CHAPlandia.
